Morning workout ✔️ Morning gratitude & setting intentions for my day ✔️ Morning 1 hour writing session ✔️And it’s only 9:15 AM??
What?! Who am I?! Where is Tiffani?!
I used to dream of a life like this and laugh because I knew it was IMPOSSIBLE. There was no way I could get all that stuff done in one day, much less in a morning! My old goals by 9:15 in the morning would be to shower and drink two cups of coffee. Or even to be asleep because I felt like crap.
“I’m not that kind of person,” I would tell myself. I could NEVER wake up earlier than I needed to.
Especially to exercise, are you kidding me?!?! There is NO WAY I could ever do that.
And then secretly I’d wish I could because that voice in my head kept pushing me and I knew I wanted it.
And then here I am.
Today I’m doing it and it’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of. It brings tears to my eyes and overwhelming joy and self love to my heart.
Mostly I never thought I could do things like this for one reason – I didn’t KNOW HOW.
I didn’t know how to change a decade of habits. A decade of a certain lifestyle of expectations. A lifestyle that became my identity. A false identity that didn’t make me happy because it wasn’t really me.
So how did I change? How in the hell did I wake up and workout today?
I changed ONE THING AT A TIME. I kept ONE PROMISE to myself at a time. I ADDED ONE thing at a time. I trained my body slowly to do more and more.
By adding one thing at a time, and not giving myself a time limit, just NOT GIVING UP, I kept going and changed everything.
What’s one thing you can add in? What’s one thing you can do today to change your habits? What’s one thing you can focus on until it becomes a new habit? Water maybe? Or exercise? Therapy once a week? Journaling? Reading?
Pick one thing and make it your everything, and one day you’ll look up and everything is different and you’re living your dream life as the best version of yourself. I’m with you! Let’s do this together! Love you friends!
